1. Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba
Standard Room with Tatami Area – $196 USD per night for two people. Rooms here come with Western-style twins as well as a traditional Japanese tatami space, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.
Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba is a ski in ski out Hakuba hotel located near the Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort, which also connects to the Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort. This iconic hotel is a one-stop shop for winter sports visitors to Hakuba: they rent out ski equipment and sell lift tickets on-site, and near the hotel is a ski school, day care center, and even a doggie day care. A free shuttle stops at the hotel that can take guests to other Hakuba ski resorts as well.
Tea and hot drinks are available all day, and meals are served buffet-style for guests who make breakfast and dinner reservations in advance. Additional amenities available to guests include karaoke rooms, massage services, saunas, and public onsen hot spring facilities, complete with mountain views.

2. Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel Annex
Double Room with Mountain View – $323 USD per night for two people. Room types vary from Western-style twin and double rooms to Japanese-style tatami rooms. For larger groups and families, suite rooms with two bedrooms are also available here for guests.
Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel Annex is a ski in ski out Hakuba hotel located steps away from the Hakuba Goryu Iimori Ski Resort’s ski lifts (great for beginner skiiers), which connects to Haakuba Goryu Ski Resort and the Hakuba 47 Snow Resort.
The Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel offers free coffee and tea for their guests, and have breakfast and dinner options available for an additional cost. A game room with a pool table and ping pong is also available for guests.

3. Ha Mon Slope Side Hotel and Private Chalet
Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom – $192 USD per night for two people.
Ha Mon Slop Side Hotel is an intimate and unique Hakuba ski in ski out chalet located at the base of the Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort. This Japanese-style ryokan features tatami flooring and shoji paper screens, original to rural mountain village accommodation. It has Western comforts including cozy mattress beds and a spacious, art-filled common area and kitchen.

4. Mountain Side Hakuba
Superior Apartment – $2,106 USD per night for up to six people, 2-night minimum stay.
Mountain Side Hakuba is a modern, ski-in, ski-out accommodation in Hakuba providing fully-equipped apartment rentals. Choose from 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments, complete with full bathrooms (with a bathtub), washer and dryer, a living room, dining area and kitchen. The apartments even have heated floors and a fireplace for extra comfort and coziness.
The rooms overlook the Happo One Kokusai Ski Resort. A number of different lifts are easily accessible from the ski in, ski out accommodation, with the closest one being for Happo Kokusai slope. The first floor of the property is a fine-dining restaurant LUCE, and nearby are ski and snowboard rental facilities and an international (English-speaking) ski school.

5. Marillen Hotel by Hakuba Hospitality Group
Superior Quadruple Room – $2,191 per night for up to four people, breakfast included.
Marillen Hotel is an Austrian-style ski in ski out Hakuba hotel located next to the Nakiyama Slope of the Happo One Ski Resort. Enjoy Austrian meals, warm Gluhwein, and cold German beers next to the fireplace during your stay here. Rooms here are modern Western-style with large, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Hakuba Valley offers a free shuttle bus that takes skiiers and snowboarders for free around the different ski resorts in town, meaning you’re easily able to access the slopes even if you’re not staying at the base of them.

6. Hakuba Tokyu Hotel

Hakuba Tokyu hotel is an iconic hotel in Hakuba. It’s part of the Japanese Tokyu hotel group known for great hospitality and overnight amenities, while the hotel itself looks and feels like a Western-style lodge lifted out of the mountains of Colorado. The hotel is located walking distance from the Hakuba Happo One ski area and the Kokusai slope lifts. A free shuttle also stops here that can take guests to ski lifts around Hakuba Valley.
Amenities at this Hakuba ski lodge include public onsen hot springs, massage services, a gift shop and mini mart, and tennis courts during the summer “green season”. 7. Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba
Junior Suite – $394 USD per night for up to four people.
Sierra Resort Hakuba is a Western-style mountain retreat in Hakuba. It is located in between Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort to the north and Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort to the south. A free shuttle service stops at the hotel which can take guests to different ski areas around Hakuba Valley.
The spacious suite rooms here are filled with modern comforts including private bathrooms and living areas (with views of the surrounding mountains and nature). Some rooms come with wooden stoves and private onsen attached too! The hotel also provides yukata (Japanese robe) rentals and free toiletries for guests.
