Cappadocia is a region in central Türkiye known for its otherworldly landscapes and ancient rock formations. It’s also famous for hot-air ballon rides where visitors can admire the chimney-shaped rocks and expansive valleys from above. Cappadocia also offers a distinctive accommodation option: cave hotels and hostels. Cave hotels allow visitors to stay in rooms carved into the very rocks that Cappadocia is famous for. If you’re traveling to Turkey on a budget, you might be interested in staying in a cave hostel in Cappadocia!

Staying in a cave hostel in Cappadocia is an immersive experience that connects you to the region’s rich history and natural surroundings. Many of the cave hotels and hostels were once ancient dwellings or monasteries, but have now been updated and modernized to become contemporary and charming places to stay.
